Bought 4.15.12 This scooter is awesome. Very comforable, fast, agile and miles away better than the Ezip 750 which I test drived last week. The actual scooter looks better than the picture. I also got the brakelight kit, if you turn the ignition on it will also light like a car tail light (really cool) and if you then press your brakes it will turn brighter. I also added bicycle honk. I will add side mirrors soon.

I wish there is an attachment for rear trailer and rear sit.

I have had this unit over 6 months now and it is the best thing going since sliced bread! With very minimal assembly and plenty of support you can be up and rolling in no time. I did my research before making this purchase and seeing is believing. I was impressed with the sturdy frame and suspension of this unit. After I charged the unit up and I hit the streets and could not have been happier. This thing really moves and I am 200+ doing speeds of over 25mph without gas. This is the wave unit of the future in terms of green environmentally safe units and it’s so much fun! I would recommend this to friends and family, trust me you will not be disappointed!

I guess after having the 1000 series for nearly 2 years, and excessively pleased with the scooters; I upgraded to the lithium battery after 6 months, while I had good performance with the lead acid, my daughter weighs 75-80lbs and me 250lbs, so we can/do have all day rides together now. Their self supporting testimonials are all true, they are really helpful when calling, they don't try to sell what cost most but what fits you best, serving you is first. Interesting this allows a under the age of having a driver's license youth the ability to travel long distances quickly, fun and functional.

4 Scooter for commuting 

I was in the market for scooters for getting to work, I didn't really want to pay a whole lot for a car. And biking to work was a lot of work, plus I live in Utah, on a mountain.... Lot's of ups and downs. Anyway so I read the reviews for this one and figured I'd try it, well it works great, zips up hill and goes way fast down hill, have to ride my brakes a lot, get's me to work almost twice as fast with a lot less work, I'd say very much worth it to get this.

Though I have a concern, I've only had it a few weeks and already the brakes don't work, I've tightened up everything on the front and it still takes like 100 ft to stop, give or take, but when I first got it it would stop on a dime, any chance I could get some help on this?

5 Long Lasting awesome product 

We purchased this exact scooter 3 years ago for our 11year old son and to this day he is still riding strong! As every machine you will purchase some maintenance is required to some extent examples: Oiling & tightening the chain checking nuts and bolts on machine routinely ect. Your normal maintenance takes 10-15 min. I would definitely recommend this product to ANYONE...also excellent customer service...you can go online to order any part you may need or call and talk to them personally!!

6 Worth Every Penny 

Order two, more then happy with the purchase. Tried to get a scooter around $350 that wasn't worth it. Ended up getting the second one of this type. Runs fast, fairly easy to put together, and sturdy. Easy to get to places nearby fast. Comfortable seat. Not too large so it's easy to store in our garage, but a little heavy.

this scooter is well worth the money, my daughter has a razor and this one will run circles around it all day, i am a large man and it takes me just about every where i have tried to go, i called the store and for my wieght the owner recomends i purchase the hill climbing kit. i will be putting that on order today and will let you know what happens after a couple of weeks. very pleased so far.

8 WOW! This scooter is the best! 

I bought this scooter because it got such outstanding reviews--every one of them deserved. The scooter takes off like a young animal, responsive and full of energy. The energy doesn't "poop out" when I go slowly on a steep grade, which is what happens on my Currie electric bike.

I bought the scooter because my Currie Izip bike was taking forever to repair. Let me say here, if you're thinking about getting Currie bike, DON'T. They're overpriced, made in China, parts are hard to get, and service is lousy. I wish I'd known about the Super Turbo before I bought the IZip. Now that I have the Currie bike working again, I don't want to get on it anymore.

9 Great and fun 

I recently purcased the Super Turbo 800watt 36v electric scooter. When i first ordered it gave the estimated shipping date over a month and it came within 2 weeks. It goes very fast and great battery life, its much bigger then you would think though. The one bad thing about this scooter is that the kickstand doesnt work very well, it falls over when you put it down, and when it’s up, if you make a sharp left turn you might get seriously hurt. Oh yeah, and the seat will slip right out so you must be careful of that, also on the handle it shows max, mid, min. it’s really just full and low. Overall, i would recommend this scooter to a friend.

10 Expensive to maintain and repair.

A sturdy mid-range scooter. Downside: Spare parts from Super Cycles are roughly double to triple what they should be , plus overpriced shipping costs. For example, a pair of chain tension adjusters costs $15 for a $2 item. A replacement tire tube will cost you $15. Replacement of the lead acid batteries with lithium will cost you about $575. A replacement chain will cost you $25! Every part is way overpriced.

She visited us two weeks latter and the battery would not hold a charge. Ordered new batteries ( 1 hr complicated install) and it would not run right. Jerkie stop and go... She refused to ride it at all the rest of the year.

This year I had to order another set of batteries, now the engine will not run at all.

I'm tired of spending time and money on this toy.

There is now way to diagnose this with our buy a new electronic controller and new trottle assembly.. Not sure that spending this time and money would fix it.

Not sure why this is priced $1000 higher than the normal Red Razor quad unless it has a regenerative battery charge capability while coasting. The two 12V batteries in series have a low operating life span. I was able to get about 20 charges on them and then had to replace. At least the batteries are available at a reasonable price.

The quad's frame is solid but the quality of the batteries is terrible and the customer service is even worse. I'm a mechanical engineer by trade who spends a lot of time dealing with electrical systems and components so when I tested the batteries and found them unable to hold a charge, I was disappointed to say the least. I called up the phone number for customer service expecting Razor to offer to replace these and I got someone from India who told me that I must not be doing something correctly. Please charge the batteries overnight and try again. After I explained that I had already done this several times and the longest life we get out of them is 10-15 minutes, I was then told that my son must either be too heavy or the terrain is too rough. I proceeded to inform them that my 45 pound 5 year old was plenty light enough and that flat asphalt neighborhoods roads shouldn't be causing that much energy to be expended. "I'm very sorry to hear about your situation but the battery life is only 20-30 minutes" was the comment I received. I informed the individual that instead of toting the company line they should research the products they're supposed to be supporting and hung up. What an awful experience after spending $400. Plan on spending $50-$60 on better batteries if you're going to make this purchase.

Nothing seems to stay together very well. Bolts around the wheels and constantly getting loose and the break system is touchy and needs a lot of attention. I ended up replacing the break pad with one that I made from PVC material because the original one wore away in two weeks. My PVC break pad has been MUCH better than the original. Over time, I think I have replaced most of the bolts on the insides of the wheels with better ones. (one star off for the poor break system and loose parts)

Great 4 Wheeler! It is the perfect ATV for my 4 year old. It goes fast, but not too fast for my 4 year old to get hurt. He can control it perfectly. It goes about the speed of a small kid riding a bike. So it is faster than those plastic battery operated cars, that go too painfully slow, even for the kids. It is fast enough that my 8 your daughter loves riding it too. The two take turns riding each on the back, while one steers. We drive it thru large puddles, We have taken it thru the mud, we have driving it thru the Snow, and it keeps going! 15 minutes to Assemble, and the charging takes 12 hours like advertised. I find that it goes charged longer than the 40 minutes to 1 hour as advertised.

It came fully assembled and it does great in our backyard, rough grass/dirt terrain. They also take in on our gravel driveway and out in our field. Honestly I bought one of these used 7 years ago that was about 5 or 6 years old at the time. My 7yo rode around w/my 3yo on the back for hundreds if not a thousand hours and they loved it. At 14 now (90 lbs wet) he STILL hopped on it though it'll last him 30-40 minutes on our 2 acre rolling property. In the 7 years we had it, it was abused, rolled, my niece somehow managed to drive it 3' up a tree and flipped it. The only "issues" were expected wearable items after a thousand uses. One being a new battery (buy an emergency indoor floodlight battery for $20, not a $50 razor battery lol). The other were 2 replacement chargers due to his own fault (took off to while it was still plugged in!). I gave it away to a neighbor who pulled the body off, painted it and gave it to his 4yo for xmas this past year. It looks brand new and should last easily another 7 years. Highly recommend, even at retail.

My kids, ages 3 and 5 years old, love it! My husband bought a $10 part to govern the speed because it was too fast for the kids. The 5 year old took a turn, not sharply, and toppled over. The battery life is over twice as long now and still plenty fast for the kids, moreso than the Power Wheels Ford truck they have. Love that the tires are rubber, parts like the axels inside are metal, and just a much better buy than the plastic wheeled counterparts!

We ordered this for our daughter for Chirstmas. We live in Colorado so we didn't have a ton of opportunity to drive it before now but when we did we kept having to pump up the back tire. We didn't think a ton about it because we used it so infrequently however now that it is nice we realize that the valve is bad and have been to a ton of different places trying to replace or fix the tire and no luck.
